Writing with Purpose
How do creative writers use their work to shed light on social issues? Sarah Cortez (author of "Vanishing Points") and Janet Lowery (author of "Traffic in Women") join us to discuss their art and activism and lead participants in creating poetry of their own. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Admission is free; donations are welcome.

The Art of Protest: Public Art and Scholarship as Political Resistance
Artists and scholars have long been at the forefront of protest movements in the United States and around the world. This one-day workshop previews a ten-day residential workshop on art as political resistance planned for June, 2019 at Sarah Lawrence College. Program admission includes all programming and a catered lunch.
